Introduction

The current charities and donations systems lack transparency.

We propose a voting system and charity management platform for charitable organizations and beneficiaries to increase trust in donors.

We are using blockchain, smart contract technologies, Dart and solidity languages and  Ethereum, Flutter platform for our project.

Process, increasing speed and efficiency, and ensuring that the donation reaches the desired person.

Research Problems

In the traditional charity framework, there is a lack of transparency

There are a number of efforts that lead to finding a solution for a better charity platform based on blockchain technology, but these systems are not complete.

Blockchain-based charity systems are dependent on existing cryptocurrency; there hasn't been a charity token exclusively for the charity.

Those who do not have a digital wallet can connect to this system, it is not offered as a complete system.

There are frameworks proposed, but none are fully developed and being used by users. Also, there's the gap of integrating a method of rating (voting) beneficiaries and organizations

Objectives

Main objective

Due to the lack of trust, the number of donors donating money to charities has decreased. The solution proposed is to  develop a blockchain-based DApp using the Ethereum platform for a charity management system with a mechanism for voting.

Specific Objectives

  1. To identify the issues and problems in the existing charity management systems.

  2. To identify the existing blockchain-based methods for charity management.

  3. To develop a DApp with the voting system to track the donor through blockchain technology and enhance the donor’s trust.

  4. Development of a mobile application to facilitate the solution better.

  5. To introduce a charity token that is unique for charity management systems.
